Hi my sweet friend Gisi, it seems that the worst of the cold weather is now over which I'm glad about; although last night it was a mere 3 degrees which is certainly not warm. Thats great that you went to a carnival. I haven't been to one of those in years. Do you get many birds visiting your garden? Thats sweet that birds have built a nest on your house. In April, May time I always see pigeons, blackbirds, starlings collecting twigs and moss to make nests to rear their chicks in. The breeding season is such a wonderful time of year. I love seeing all the cute fluffy chicks hehe. It is sad about Whitney. Did you watch her funeral? I heard about the accident that Prince Friso had whilst skiing. It is terrible; he was starved of oxygen and is brain damaged. Prince Friso's daughters are so young and its terrible for them as they probably won't be able to speak to their dad again. And his poor wife Princess Mable must be devastated. Have a good weekend, Lots of love xxx

Ein schönes Wochenende liebes.

Hi sweetie, I am good thanks. What have you been up to? For the past couple of weeks it has been very cold. Last week it got down to -10 which was the coldest day so far this year. And there has been heavy snow. My cats didn't want to go outside which is understandable. The snow and ice would be cold on their paws. I have been putting extra food out for the birds that visit my garden. The water in the bird bath was frozen solid and so I have been cutting up apples so at least the birds would get some nutrition. I saw the funniest thing yesterday... a blackbird had half an apple in his beak and he flew away with it! hehe. How are your pets? Have a lovely weekend, L.O.V.E
