Paying homage to the ALCHEMISTS for keeping the LIGHT of TRUTH, where the powers of DARKNESS would in vain seek to extinguish the ETERNAL FLAME.

WHY were the alchemists so SECRETIVE about their WORK? Not because they feared persecution and certain death for HERETICAL teachings, but to keep the FLAME of eternal TRUTH through the long, DARK NIGHT before the rising of the SPIRITUAL SUN whose light has begun to break forth, in preparation for the GOLDEN AGE to come.

SOCRATES' commentary on PLATO's 'Allegory of the Cave':

~After returning from divine contemplations to human evils, a man is graceless and looks quite ridiculous when — with his sight still dim and before he has gotten sufficiently accustomed to the surrounding darkness — he is compelled in courtrooms or elsewhere to contend about the shadows of justice or the representations of which they are they shadows, and to dispute about the way these things are understood by men who have never seen justice itself.~

The Emerald Tablet of Thrice-Great HERMES:

In truth, without deceit, and most veritable.
That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing. All Obscurity will be clear to you.This is the greatest Force of all powers, because it overcomes every Subtle thing and penetrates every Solid thing. In this way was the Universe created. From this comes many wonderous Applications, because this is the Pattern. Therefore am I called Thrice Greatest Hermes, having all three parts of the wisdom of the Whole Universe. Herein have I completely explained the Operation of the Sun.
