FIRST REMASTERING TEST. Concert held at Jerudong Park Garden on December 31, 1996. I'd say this, along with Auckland, are the best performances of the first leg. This is an extremely rare concert that was only recently uploaded. The version uploaded was badly encoded VHS to VCD transfer and the video and audio quality is rather poor; the people with the high quality version were too greedy to share it. Low-pitched sounds are often followed with a rumbling noise, as you could hear in the bass. Here I tried to remove this rumble from the bass line, which is fairly well, but the bass is still rather strong (but much clearer than before). However this makes everything else sound somewhat like a cell-phone recording; I tried to fix this a bit by overlaying two different remasterings over each other. Contrast and brightness levels of video adjusted (sometimes different for different camera views) and unsharp mask added.

Still, despite the so and so quality, a big kudos to Ekie for sharing this rare treasure as well as Royal Brunei Concert!

I just realized that upon uploading it on YouTube the audio has been compressed by YouTube's uploader and a strange scratching sound is present in the place of the annoying rumble of the original. It was not like this in the original file; the speakers did rumble due to the high amplification of the bass but the low rumbling did not occur and was seemingly removed. I'll try to see what I can do about it in a future remastering. (less info)
