Hi Chuckychanz. More influential than anything that happened in the 60s eh? I would say Holly had not peaked and his life was cut short before he could. More influential than Dylan, Pink Flloyd, Ray Charles, Presley and Roy Orbison? All of whom rose to fame in the 1960s.

Just been looking through all of the cover versions I can find. Actually, this piece gets a bit repetitious after a while. Seems like so many people can play this. None match Big Bill Broonzy's version.

I always though Duane Eddy used a baritone guitar. The deep notes on the early 60s tracks were surely not played on a standard Gretsch?
