You're right about hair metal being crap. Well, most of it anyway. Warrant and Poison were known for sucking but at the same time had fans that didn't know what bad music was. I listen to hair metal bands that actually have TALENT (Dokken being one of them). It's a fact that Warrant and Poison were reasons a change needed to come (Cherry Pie was a bad song since...it was released!!!). It's funny how hair metal fans think they know grunge and misinterpret it. And you also gotta love how a lot of the hair bands try to use sexual metaphors, but everyone knows what they're actually saying.
