@ur2cool1001 The genre is actually Baroque. Pachelbel was a composer from the Baroque period. He died in 1706. 44 years before the start of the classical period of music.

Maybe everyone should remember that this is a COVER not a copy of the original. Different interpretations of the same music is what make music like this so glorious to listen to. Cheryl's version is how she chose to interpret the song, vice versa with Adele.

Look at the setting, look at what she is wearing...she is not performing as part of a performance of the Magic Flute. It is obviously a concert recital thereby she does not need to 'act out' the song. She is merely singing it for the pleasure of others. I'm quite sure she knows the she is singing...
