Music, video, parody improv Second Life has been of high interest to me as it offers the opportunity to play in front of a live audience and offers all kinds of possibilities with animation for video.
Movies:
Anything with explosions, gratuitous nudity or both. I'm tired of movies that lecture me.
Music:
Practically anything. But when I'm playing it myself I usually want the guitar to thunder.
Books:
The Dragonflight series by Anne McAffrey as that was the switch from generally rational science fiction to sci-fi with fantasy and that's quite a good place to be.
