I remember when this was out i bet a mate it would knock Brya Adams off number one spot at the time. I lost the bet, Bryan Adams was still number one about 7 weeks later!

One of their early UK releases from 1987. Still a classic track almost 25 yrs on. REM are not gone, their music will live on and on .

On the 21yrs of Emmerdale video , released in late 1993, the only clip relating to Pegys death is the one of the reverand on the phone, bit brief really , they could have put more footage on, expect something on dvd for the 40th anniversary in 2012

Great to see this , when was it filmed? Looking forward to the 40th anniversary next year, wonder what the script writers will come up with?
