About this user

As a Music addicted, I was lucky enough to be raised under a very strong environment of Classical Music & also Jazz, Soul, R&B, Funk, Disco & some experimental. Through my parents I discovered the World of Stravinsky, Mussorgski, Prokofiev, but also Brazil's most important composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, the standards of Bach, Mozart & Beethoven, among other legendaries.

Not by coincidence the mass medias also had a huge impact on my background through Movies Soundtracks such as Stanley Kubrick's (which had the ground-breaking sounds of György Ligeti, Krzysztof Penderecki & Wendy Carlos). The Radios were responsible for the other part, why not saying a substancial one with all the Soul, R&B, Funk & Disco standards (Earth Wind & Fire, The Floaters, Rick James, Marvin Gaye, etc).

As an early seventies born kid, I was hypnotized by the following eras: Break Dance (1982-1985), and later the Acid House/House/Samplemania (1988-1989), followed by the Detroit Techno of Inner City and the like (1989) and finally the Bleep and Rave one (of WARP & R&S from 1990 to 1993).

From Journalism to Artist Management, I had the chance to work on several sides of the Music Industry - from Artist Management Agencies to my editorial project |Electronic Standards|. During my artist manager journey, I had the chance to take part of international tours such as Altern8 (Stafford/UK), Darren Price (London/UK), Claro Intelecto (Manchester/UK), DJ Pierre (Phuture/Phortune, NJ/US), Kenny Larkin (Detroit/US), Vince Watson (Scotland), Legowelt & Orgue Electronique (Holland), among others.
