I don't get how the CBS editors didn't put this into the final film. Its like they wanted people to not to feel that much for film or rather the actors. That was some of the better acting in the film, if not the entire film.
Bleeh to the film editors.

@H1delta Don't care about Hollywood making a LesMis movie. Hollywood always mucks up any musical turned into a movie. Be it casting, voices, etc. Unless it was an original Hollywood made musical movie, not an adaptation.
