@XxXDarkDrakeXxX While the shield is a very useful part of the knights armor for close quarter or mounted combat, the armor was still the more important than the shield as many nights went into combat with two handed weapons when dismounted so that they could penetrate armor

@bsapaka The guard the aggressor took was historically accurate, even if it was a weak version. He was attempting to do the Ochs guard. The bearded man took up the Vom Tag and Tag guards multiple times. The parrying was a bit unrealistic, as they weren't parrying from the guards and weren't uses ...

@Halofreakanoid my response is a bit late, but yes, I agree. When Knights got off their high horse, literally, we saw them wreck havoc on other foot formations. Without the speed and weight of the charge to help the pike penetrate plate, the pike can be rendered near useless. A pike is very heavy...

lol, bull. A rogue needs to pop several cooldowns to beat any decent opponent. It's not a problem though, it's part of the classes design. All these crybabies over AW need to realize that every class pretty much has a button they can press to increase damage in some way. Get over AW

@larjman Not true mate. I do HEMA and we spar with steel Longswords, Claymores, Bastard Swords, Rapier/Parrying Daggers, and Pikes. We were fencing jackets, fencing helmets and a mix of lacrosse gloves, arm and leg guards. Try it, it's pretty awesome.

Seems risky to not use gloves, accidents happen even with professionals. Good video and nice demo though
