Akai Najir, born Ramon L. Pedrozo III, is a native of Kansas City who is confidently emerging into the music industry. Born into a musical family, Najir had no choice but to become a musically inclined genius. Through the years recognizing his potential, Najir continued to thrive off his musical inclination. Meeting Will.i.Am on the Black-Eyed Peas tour and encountering Bryan Michael Cox on a business trip was a big mile stone for his career as an song writer, producer, recording artist, and entrepreneur starting his own record label (Rozo'e Records). Rozo'e Records is an American record label founded by Akai in 2008. The label's title refers to the American, Ramon L. Pedrozo. Before it was known as a Record Label, it was a Production Team, {Portley Productions} used as an outlet for (Producer) Akai Najir to maintain structured business for his production work. Rozo'e Records is known as an independent outlet for elite artist with unexpected creativity. Akai Najir's goal isn't just making hits and dope records; he just wants to make history. "If you got the heat, you got a seat".
Akai is currently working on his first solo album entitled "Life & Time of Akai Najir." Najir stays hungry to keep making music. For him, success is the only option. Akai feels that everyone should be a risk taker, and be you, even if it means being different. Along with music, Najir also values education. Majoring in business, Najir ties his passion for music in with his collegiate experience. Akai recorded on the John Lennon Educational Bus working with sound (engineer) Ryan L'esperance and (video engineer) Kevin Hoy, writing the smash hit "I'm Somebody." Created to inspire youth to stay in school and to focus on their dreams. The John Lennon experience has featured big artist like, Black Eyed Peas, Most Def, the Pussycat Dolls, Pat Monahan, Natasha Bedingfield, Ono and John Legend.
