About Me:
Hi!!! My name is Viv. I am half Malaysian, half Filipino...but also has a little Spanish blood from my mom's side.
I lived in Christchurch, NZ but I have moved after finishing high school. I was there when the first earthquake happened but I was devastated when there was a 2nd one this year (2011), especially because I wasn't there but my friends were. Please pray for them.
I'm mostly going to upload myself playing the piano, but I might make another short film or something one day (: I also put Playlists of My Fav. Artists...check them out!
I've moved to London to study!! =D Yipee!!!!
MY EXPERIENCE OF PIANO
Q: How long did you play the piano?
A: A tricky question xD I played since I was seven and had piano lessons. But because I'm constantly moving from one country to another, I've stopped...and continued...then stopped...and continued...so it's why I'm not a professional pianist. Yet... ;)
Q: So that means you can read and play the notes?
A: Yes. My sight-reading is alright, I just need more practice of it...and there are times when I NEED to transcribe the music myself to perform but I'm still sucky at it! I'm working on it! xD Sometimes I envy those people who say "Oh, I don't use sheet music, I use my ear." Hahaha! But not me, man. I like music sheets. Too lazy to transcribe. WEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Q: Any favourite genres of music you like to play?
A: I love Jazz, however, it takes awhile for me to practise and get it right. I also love Disney songs and Yiruma (who doesn't?) So you'll see a lot of them on this channel! Pretty much of a modern music junkie. I like to play music from the Romantic era too (: like Debussy or Tchaikovsky :D Classical and Baroque...well I tried. xD
