Most of my videos are hosted at my personal web site or through my podcast. They are largely a collection of interviews and debates on Canadian politics, international affairs, and equestrian sport.

I hope you enjoy them!

akaashmaharaj My 2011 Christmas broadcast on TVOntario's The Agenda with Steve Paikin touches upon slavery, global war, and land mines, and as improbably as it may sound, is about our country's founding traditions of hope.

Hey looks like I've found my next item for Journal time in World Religion class.

Generally, I agree that the state should not regulate the niqab as proposed in Quebec. However I do not believe that this attempt has anything to do with atheism. It is promoted by two separate interest: protectionism of "traditional" French Canadian culture and feminism. While this case illustrates protectionists' interests that are akin to xenophobia, the feminists interests are well intentioned (but misguided). The niqab isn't the real offense but only a symptom of the real issue: cultures that still treat women as property. Such a philosophy can only be changed through cultural forces. Laws can't fix the real problem and banning the niqab risks having the most vulnerable women force to live as shut-ins.

Nice video essay though!
