Had a friend called Myles Grant in Santhome, Madras. He loved Engelberts songs, and Release Me was his favourite..(sang almost like him when we got off on the beach with a guitar, in the 70's....way long ago...

This was one of the favourite nos of the Shadows that we played in the late 60's and early 70's,...played it around 4.00am in the morning when our Madras dance crowd were slowing down, and wanted numbers for "cheek to cheek dancing"!! Believe me we had encores for this number too....
