訓練は定期便の離発着の合間に行われ、トラフィックパターン内を6回周回し、5回のタッチアンドゴーが行われました。離発着がある場合は、RWY36のライトダウンウインドレグにてホールドする場面も見られました。
日本航空のパイロット向け訓練との事でした。
Here is NOT Paine Field. This is Japan's Chubu International Airport. The training was held at the Airport Traffic Pattern. Is NOT only use for training airport. Therefore, it was held between the takeoff and landing of regular flights Domestic and International flight. 787 was also waiting at the Right downwind.
This is done for the Japan Airlines pilot training. JAL still have not received the 787.
Shooting was difficult. Observation deck of this airport is perpendicular to the runway. And, it was not able to shoot to follow longer because so many photographer on the deck.
もはや日本国内では787が定期路線就航していますので、特段珍しさはないのですが、前回までのANAカラーの機体とは異なり、ボーイング社のハウスカラー機の初飛来となりました。また、GEnxエンジン搭載機の初飛来という珍しさも加わりました。
この日は訓練は着陸後に停止せずにそのまま離陸するタッチアンドゴー訓練と、名古屋から松本・新潟・日本海方面へ向けて運行する「Technical Route Proving」が行われました。
訓練時はとにかく風が強く、このT/Gのあとはさらに風が強く吹き付けました。横風であれば訓練中止もあったのかもしれません。
またセントレアの展望デッキの形状ゆえ、離陸時のフォローが行えなかったのが残念です。
