I'm a child of the most high. No matter how far away I wander, or how distracted I get. The source is always there to pick me right back up, and put me back on the path of truth & light. I used to have nightmares if I didn't go to sleep to Coltrane's "A Love Supreme". I realize now that not truly living my life with & for love is a living nightmare. Coltrane's music expressed the pain & joy of that realization and so many other revalations so clearly. Now that I have sweet dreams, happy dreams, full of love dreams...I'm grindin to make music that can make my people feel as at peace as that album makes me feel. My passion to create music is inspired by the love I have for, God, Love, and all Living Spirits. My only goal is to shine Light through music. My mother is my earthly hero, as well as all those who openly share their gifts. She's taught me to be a strong, independent, fearless woman under the Universe's direction & protection. Everyday I'm growing, and evolving into my true-self. I'm seeing my reflection, and cleaning the dirt off of it. Everything I give is out of truth, passion, & inspiration. I'm learning to master humility, courage, and sincerity. I'm learning how to be regulartive, about putting into action everything I desire. How to inspire, and be inspired. How to be my best... My musical journey began when my mother used to place the headphones on her womb playing "The Creator Has a Master Plan", & "A Love Supreme". I first picked up the sax in the 6th grade in Atlanta, GA. I kept playing until I moved to CA in '97. I wasn't pleased with being taken away from all my ATLiens, but I found new inspiration in CA's underground music scene. I was introduced to the underground hip hop scene, where I wondered off into the jungle/ drum-n-bass world. I love it still. That was the birth of me starting to mc, play sax, and sing over jungle, then house, to broken beat. After the dnb scene withered away, I went back to our roots...jazz. I went back to school, and studied jazz for a few years at a few colleges. I started teaching piano, and sax lessons to 4-50 year olds. That's when I realized my love is not just for music, but for sharing music. Whether it be performing, teaching, or continuously learning. I love to give back. Everything I learn, I will share. Everything I earn, I'll return. I've come to empower, & inspire all living things through the most ancient & sacred form...music. Get at me if you need sax licks, vocals, or fashion tips.
