This is a wonderful example of how really nice things come in small packages. Just enough to establish an intricate musical platform for exploration, but not too much such that one ends up practicing scale variants for five minutes. Very well done!

Yes indeed, this is the foundation for a complete musical composition...and an excellent one at that! Add a lead / melody, maybe some catchy words, and it's got "hit song" written all over it. The bass line in the "chorus" part reminds me of the sound that Leslie West and Felix Papalardi created...
