@mashamorgan Theres a window on the side hatch but they sit fwd of that. But a video monitor can be connected and velcroed on the lockers in front of them to see landing when the pilot point of view camera is up and running. The camera would have not been recording at this point.

@littlefrank90 Yes your PC is more powerful. The computers in the orbiter were updated in the 90's. They are kept simple for a reason. The less lines of code give less chance for hiccups. For the most part, they performed flawlessly with just a few hiccups in all of the years of operation.

@spencer82rocks The camera was installed just to monitor the tile hits on the bottom of the orbiter if they occured. Has nothing to do with the boosters.

@Textrybal No fighters are in the air for landings. A weather plane or a G2 flies approaches to the runway just to evaluate the conditions. After the orbiter lands, the G2 is usually trailing behind. Thats the sound you here. The orbiter sound by itself still makes a lot of noise though.

Nice video but most of it and I said most is not from the final mission at all. Its not STS-135 on orbit and definetly not the last landing. Suggest you change the title.
