@REVBia yeah they made a couple of "oaters" formulaic westerns, and Wayne, McLoughlan, Ohara, and Ford all took their salaries to fund the Quiet Man. that was one of the reasons that JohnWayne set up BATJAC....So that he could make movies that he wanted made, This is why it is my favorite Way...
