NCR Shelter In Place Proejct Overview
Shelter in Place Training Project -- This project, sponsored by Virginia, will focus on designing a "shelter in place" training course to help people in the public and private sectors train their people/employees to respond to a nuclear, chemical or biological hazard that would force people to stay in place for some time until the situation was resolved or under control and safe for the public to evacuate, relocate, etc....A pilot project is underway in Washington DC with both private sector firms and government agencies. Once completed, this will be expanded to other stakeholders within the region.
