• AD is an eletronic music duo from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Jarbas Agnelli and Waldo Denuzzo play toghether since the 80's, experimenting with several styles and formations. The definitive duo survived, with Waldo on guitar and bass, and Jarbas on the Mac and keys. • Waldo came from a progressive rock background, playing in a Jethro Tull like band with his brothers. Jarbas brought his love for tecno experimentation and musical gadgets, throwing Depeche Mode and Front 242 to the mix. The reviews of their first album (2001) described the sound as a King Crimson/Chemichal Brothers marriage. Now they are broading the soundscape, adding Bossa Nova and MPB to the electronic journeys. Waldo, aside from the bass, guitar and drums, now messes with Live and Logic, and Jarbas now exercises his fingers on the amazing Jass Mutant "Lemur" and monome, playing with Reaktor and Isadora. • They also work toghether at AD Studio, a production house, owned by Jarbas, where he directs spots and music videos, and composes soundtracks with Waldo.
