Nicki MInaj is super hot, but I would like this song better without the rap. I thought Madonna ruined "Give It 2 Me" with the rap section as well. I like this song, but the rap is a negative.

Another discrepancy you can see is the girl behind Vienna. Notice the position of her left arm in the wide shot (where Vienna is smiling) when Jake and Kasey hug. Then notice how it is bent in the inserted "angry Vienna" shot.

Really annoying how they've done these "bonus tracks". US edition has just 11 tracks. UK edition adds "Horizontal Twist" and "Mirame". Then a few months later they release the German edition which drops those two and adds "End Of The World" and "Sleeping Giant". I already paid to import the UK ed...

Lyric mistake at about 1:18. The line should read "why'd you spare us from your grace but not the ROD". You have it saying "ride".

Just saw this for the first time in the recent MTV 30 footage on VH-1 Classic. Interesting to hear the original. I only knew the Tesla version, though I knew they didn't write it. I think Tesla hugely improved the song, however.

Anyone know when this was recorded? I know its on the Jap Collage, but wondering when the actual performance is from.

Interesting idea, nice work. The music is too loud relative to the dialogue, though. It overpowers and you can't hear what they say. You don't need constant music in a preview.

@Zomegad Almost all of them. Even a song like Half Of Something Else, which goes from soft to intense, has almost no dynamics. Look at a waveform of it sometime. It looks like they slammed the levels till everything clipped, and then lowered the volume, which is just the same as shaving everythin...

Mixed feelings about this. I like Weezer. I love The Cars. This doesn't really add anything. Pixar should have just used the original for the movie. It's not like it sounds like a 60's oldie or anything, so what was the point in having it re-recorded?

@rikardokalderon Really like this group. Takes me back a few decades. Neon Trees is another new-ish band that gives me the same vibe. Chek them out if you don't know them.

This is great. I love the new "Cars" (as opposed to "New Cars") stuff too. Would have been awesome if they could have talked Rundgren into just being Ben Orr's full time replacement so the Cars would still have two vocalists.
