I have a BOSS GT-10 effects board and in the manual it says that this is normal and is caused by an "INFINITESIMAL CHARGE".....basically...extra static charge. when i place my foot on the metal plating the hiss goes away. and there is a grounding screw that can be used to attach an earthing cable...
