About The LUCKY DUCKIES

Marco Antonio, lead singer of this glamourous nostalgic band, founded this project in 1987. Invited some local friends from Lisbon zone in Portugal. some musicians have been replaced, but the band leader kept the same charisma and characteristics of the group. In 2002 invited female singer Cláudia Faria to be part of the band.
The Lucky Duckies style oscillates between crooner and rebel rockabilly, between Dean Martin and Elvis Presley. He's a synthesis of the retro Las Vegas spirit. His nostalgic repertoire is varied, so he's able to do a nostalgic concert in general, or making specialized performances of Rock'n'Roll; Jazz American Standards ; classics in spanish, Italian, french and Portuguese languages. Some European TV Broadcast Companies and the Radio Stations do not ignore the talent of this musical project. This band gives us a glamorous atmosphere and a sound extinct along ago!

Marco Antonio is a singer with a voice specialized on musical nostalgia of the period since the 1920's until the 1960's. He is performing with prestigious musicians forming a band called THE LUCKY DUCKIES. This group can function both as a compact sextet (2 voices, piano, acoustic bass, jazz guitar and drums) and also as a Big Band . Marco's style oscillates between crooner and rebel rockabilly, between Dean Martin and Elvis Presley. He's a synthesis of the retro Las Vegas spirit. His nostalgic repertoire is varied, so he's able to do a nostalgic concert in general, or making specialized performances of Rock'n'Roll; Jazz American Standards ; classics in spanish, Italian, french and Portuguese languages. Normally the band invites female singer Claudia Faria to make that lovely golden oldies feminine repertoire. Some European TV Broadcast Companies and the Radio Stations do not ignore the talent of this musical project. This band gives us a glamorous atmosphere and a sound extinct along ago!
Marco's curriculum since 1987 is very complete. He's leading this nostalgic project inviting good musicians all over the world. A few years ago had settlement in the United States, performing in lots events, and being a resident singer in Lola's Cafe in New York City. But his big experience is the constant tour all over Europe, singing in the retro circuit of Jazz Clubs, private social parties, and public shows in Superior Hotels, Casinos and Municipal Auditoriums.
