You pretty much nailed it. One issue that should also have been addressed is the Jedi outfits. They shouldn't have been dressed like Obi-Wan was in A New Hope. It just doesn't make sense that Obi-Wan was hiding in the desert, but still dressed in "Jedi" attire. Those clothes should have just been...
