a vast improvement over the previous "apes" film. "conquest" has good action scenes, a good pace and a fairly convincing script. look out for don murray's classic hamming!!! me and my brother love it.

most of the aerial shots for this film were taken from the 1930 version that starred douglas fairbanks jnr. even so, this is a classic war picture and one of errol flynn's best

i think this one is a bit over-rated myself. the story is rather hard to follow at times and the running time is too much. however, the fighting scenes, the music, the cast and direction are all first-rate.

a great end to a period of 29 months that saw cream make music history with their ground-breaking sound and original skills at improvisation. this version of "i'm so glad" is one of my favourites. long may their music reign supreme.

the stones would or should be proud of this version of their hit song.
