Aeternitas is a symphonic death metal sextet hailing from Brisbane, Australia. Formed in early 2008 to create uncompromisingly powerful, melodic sound scapes which traverse a mixture of classical, death and black metal elements.

2009 saw Aeternitas release their debut EP 'Holocaust of Reason' to rave reviews from metalcallout.com citing, "Despite not having the backing of a multi-million dollar label, Aeternitas put out one of the best albums of '09" and Metal Hammer stating, "It's a technically impressive display by proficient players and ambitious in its musical scope".

After the release of their EP, the band built a solid fan base both locally and internationally which saw them land a support slot for Alestorm's, 'Plunder Down Under' Australian tour. After many numerous line up changes and playing countless shows in and around Brisbane, Aeternitas have a solid line up and are in the midst of writing their debut album with a focus on pushing the boundaries of their technical prowess and engaging, cohesive song writing.
