This embodies what the olympics are all about, its the attempt, not winning that is important.

First time I saw her was at the Normal Manley games, Kingston Jamaica, in 1976. She finish that 100m race as if her was shot from a canon, my favorite sprinter ever!!!

For those we said it is not possble to run your best times late in your career, look at Ashford, she set the world record of 10.76, in 1987?...and her first major finals was back at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. She also set this record while beating a bunch of East Germans????? Which jerk can cl...

I wish I heard these things when I was sprinting, makes a lot of sense to me.
