You are lucky man, when I first started looking at the M400 about 6 months ago it was only $800.00 on the low end like you paid, now the cheapest I have found is about $950.00 before shipping/transfer. Going to pick one up sometime soon, or maybe a RRA LAR15 if I can find one on sale. Good review...

Pete, if you want the P229 enhanced elite feel but want a bit more "width" and "weight" go for the Stainless Elite, it comes with those wide ass wood grips and a steel frame.

Pete, seriously does Ryan Seacrest and Elton John run that range or something? Or is it run by people from the Brady Campaign? It has the most Bizarre, un-gun friendly rules I have ever herd of at a range. Drive the distance and buy the slightly more expensive ammo!

Pete, you use a gun without night sights as your night stand gun?

You should try to find some night sights for that M9 if your going to keep it on your night stand, or better yet keep that P226 there.
