BORN AND BRED ON BLUEGRASS, ADRIAN NILES GOT THE BUG FROM HIS DAD, LOREN. AS A BABY, ADRIAN WOULD BANG HIS HEAD OFF THE CRIB TO A RHYTHM. AFTER DOCTOR'S CONCERN AND YEARS PASSING ON, NILES GREW TO LOVE THE BLUES AND IT'S LEGENDS; MUDDY AND HOWLIN' BEING HIS FAVORITES HE BEGAN HIS STUDIES.
HIS FRESHMAN YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL ADRIAN PLAYED JIMI LICKS IN A BAND OF FELLOW CLASSMATES/MUSICIANS. HE QUICKLY LEARNED HE WOULD HAVE TO FORGE OUT A PATH OF HIS OWN THROUGH THE DRIBBLE OF HAIR BANDS, AND GRUNGE OF THE EARLY '90S.
BOB DYLAN CAME ALONG SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND, LIKE A BEACON POISED UPON A CELESTIAL PEAK, ADRIAN NILES FOLLOWED. AND SO THE JOURNEY CONTINUES; SPRAWLING OUT ATOP THE BARREN PLAINS OF "BIG LABEL PRODUCTIONS", WINDING THROUGH THE NARROW TRAILS OF FORMULATED SONGSTERS AND GLIDING ABOVE THE LISTLESS VALLEYS OF COVER BANDS.
