About Me:
 
Accompanied only by the guitar or lap-slide in his live performance, Adrian Glynn is a raw singer and songwriter whose compositions range from murky tales of murder to confessions of love and lust. He sings with an honesty and a passion that is rare.. Though a solo artist by design, Adrian has recently teamed up with Vancouver session pros as well as 54-40 guitarist/songwriter and talented producer Dave Genn to complete work on his first EP. The record features full band performances of some of Adrian's strongest songs, as well as three candid solo performances- one entirely a cappella.
The release was celebrated with a sold-out CD launch in Vancouver last year, and Adrian has been promoting the CD since, opening shows for the likes of Barney Bentall and Canadian Idol Finalist Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as performing in festivals and conferences such as the Western Canadian Music Awards and New Music West. Songs from the eponymous EP can be heard on the Canadian dramatic TV series, The Guard, and fan-favourite Marianne has enjoyed considerable air-time on the CBCs Radio One. Adrian also spent time in India this year, performing and taking interviews on national TV and radio, as well as teaching music to youths in a Bombay shantytown.
In the near future, Adrian has plans to begin touring the Canadian festival circuit, while launching a brand new music video and beginning work on new recordings.
