@stfergus608 You are thinking of the Nimrod, ( based on a Comet airframe, worlds first passenger jet ! ). Had a design flaw which involved electrics in the belly fuel tank ?. If I'm correct, killed 14 people.

Read the latest copy of Motorsport . The 4 smaller front wheels gave increased cornering grip & greater braking ability. Because the 10" front tyres were a one-off, Goodyear didn't bother developing them, if they had, it's thought that by the end of 77' they could have been worth a second a lap !.

Saw them for the 'umpteenth' time the other night @ Brixton, sell-out gig. Mac was on great form, joking with the crowd. They still sound as tight & great as when I saw them back in the 80's. So many bands from that decade now sound terrible, ( Sisters of Mercy ! ), but the 'Bunnymen' have not...
