@alsoknownasallenkeys Anyone who follows British politics knows that in fact Marr is on the Left. However, I don't detect bias in his interviews, and as for Miliband making "a valid point" - I presume you were watching another interview (of someone else).

Richie Benaud is a great commentator but I don't see how he can say Hughes was out plumb from a commentary box at the Pavilion End. It looked to be going down the leg side. Also I'm not sure about him saying Greg Chappell declared - Hughes was captain for that tour and I thought Greg Chappell did...

More crap Aussie umpiring - unlucky David Gower 1991

It's not the worst decision, there doesn't look to be an inside edge and it might have just clipped leg stump. It certainly wasn't missing by "3 or 4 inches" as Greig said. In real time it looks somewhere between pretty close and plumb.

Maybe not on air but Blofeld certainly has no compunction in using blue language: he once shouted to Duncan Fletcher to f*** off in a crowded Leeds restaurant.

I think Gary Sobers was the best batsman I've seen. I think because Sobers is widely regarded as the greatest all-rounder there is a reluctance to also class him as the greatest batsman, too, but I think he was.Tendulkar would be my no. 2 greatest ever bat.
