@nnorrellim couldn't agree more dude..i believe in my own saying, "dress up your chops, not your kit..." i know some drummer(including my friends), who really spend a lot on their kit buying top of the line gear, but can't play pretty well..

hate him or love him, it doesn't matter..for one, i love the guy, and everything he has contributed to music..who would ever forget One, Battery, and tons of other groove-laden, power-packed, thrash masterpieces that his band put together..he may never be in the ranks of say portnoy, bozzio, pear...

you guys are sick..my top two drummers are my in my name..but hey, lars vs dave? don't forget these equations: angel of death = fight fire with fire, south of heaven = leper messiah, seasons in the abyss = sanitarium...what's the point?these two drummers influenced almost every influential drumme...

I know these guys personally, and they really are very good...more power
