the Mom & Dad scenario was a dry joke (sarcasm) apple removing ports or functionality and re introducing em! the logic board and super drives replacements on my unit is no joke i have 3 receipts here for 2 logic boards and 3 superdrive replacements!

@MrBlalalalla yes the mini's for the 5mp camera and led is good ;-) i had it only a couple of weeks. i also heard with sonyericsson UI it runs 2.1 better than the generic 2.2.... so thats a good thing.... also mate could you tell me if your display is still in good shape as thats another reason...
