About ADFUSA
America's Development Foundation is a U.S. nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 tax exempt status. Established in 1980, ADF has experience working in over 35 countries throughout the world to strengthen the capacities of civil society, private sector and government to work together for responsive democratic governance and social and economic development. ADF programs include relief and reconstruction.
ADF has experience working in Haiti since 1985. ADF is presently working with Haiti's non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in mobilizing resources for emergency relief and reconstruction services for the people in Haiti impacted by the earthquake. ADF established the Haiti Earthquake Relief & Reconstruction Fund to mobilize resources for emergency relief services including food, clothing, shelter, medical care, psychological counseling, and as soon as possible the reconstruction of orphanages, schools and hospitals in the disaster area.
