Thanks! The Groove Mixer timing can be applied to pretty much anything - the random timing isn't dependent on quantisation. There is an awful lot more to the Groove Mixer than I've showed here, but the random timing feature is the one that I tend to use the most.

I just came across this video (I'm Adam Fielding, the guy who wrote the music in the background) - I know it's a test shoot but I really, really liked it. The part from 1:30 in particular was really nicely shot, and thematically - to me - conveyed a particularly strong sense of disconnection.
