could be either from the sound of it, either snare hits on 3 for 4/4 or on 2 for 2/4

my guess would be 4/4 because that fits the phrases better, (normal rock groupings in multiples of 4) but its trickey to tell often.. either way a great song

rubato is used in loads of different genres, including modern music (especially solos) although it is much more subtle than most people realise, leading to some players making their audience seasick with the variation in tempo, Zimerman got it just right :)

why such negative comments? Yundi is incredibly good, and played this very well. The end was also sensational :)

this was incredible, slightly different notes to the piano solo version, the rubato was spot on, especially around 1:20 chopin wrote this near his death (i think) as it was published posthumously and the context was clear from the tone. this performance more than any other made me think...

keys with flats in them tend to be warmer and softer and keys with sharps in more bright (for major keys) although this is just a generalisation
