I am sick of always hearing what the world has to say, whenever you read the news everything and anything to do with homosexuality is completely twisted and turned to meet those who issued such propaganda's desires. And I am sick of YOU people out there who believe these lies that you've been told. Opinions can never beat facts, I am just another person out there with a voice that would like to be heard, because there are many people out there whose voices are muffled by societies ignorance to these topics.

You can choose to believe what I say or simply ignore it, but just give me a few moments of your precious time and listen to what I have to say, then do your own research if you like. Hopefully by the end of this you would search: Homosexuality is not a sin, or there is nothing wrong with being gay. Instead of: Homosexuality is unnatural or gays should be killed.

There is nothing wrong with being homosexual, it is not a choice. It is a part of you, no different that your eye color, hair color or skin tone, it is definitely not something that can be changed- maybe because it is something that does not need changing.

For those who say how wrong it is, were only talking about love; love has no boundaries and it is completely natural, if a gay man were to marry a woman and settle and have kids, that would just take the happy out gay. How would you feel if you were told you couldn't love someone because it was not right and that you would have to suffer and sacrifice your happiness to please another.

Why don't you sacrifice your narrow mindedness and open up a little and accept us for who we are and let us be happy for a change. We don't tell you how to live your lives and its called common courtesy for you to return the favor.

Now the sex. For those who argue about aids- it is not solely confined to gay people alone, and heterosexuals account for the majority of cases. Gay sex is present in the animal kingdom as well which makes it very natural.

Religion doesn't condemn the act either. Christian and Islamic scripture have been misinterpreted in the past and is continually being interpreted falsely. If we are all Gods creation, don't we all deserve the same love? For it does say that equality is the greatest gift of mankind and so we should exercise this. In one passage it does say that a man who lays with another man should be killed, BUT it is in the same chapter that people who wear different color clothing should be killed, a woman who is not a virgin on the night of her marriage should be taken to her family's house and stoned to death, children who misbehave should also in turn be put to death and those who masturbate are also subject to such treatment.

Why don't we go on the street and stone people for wearing different color clothing? Why don't we put to death every woman who is not a virgin? Why don't we murder every person who has masturbated? Why dont we line up all those naughty children and beat them to death? YET we still go on and justify that the bible/koran tell us that being gay is not ok?

Not knowing what is really happening, being ignorant to these things and just listening to grossly false information NOW THAT IS NOT OK.

Gay liberation is not just my liberation and those of the gay community, it is in no doubt that gay liberation is EVERYBODY's LIBERATION. If society can see past our differences and accept us for who we are, then they will be able to do so for every other person out there, see past the shell of our existence, see us for the people we really are, see us for the human beings that we are and give us the rights and respect we all deserve as human beings.
