About this user
Born on June 12th, 1992; Adam is a sixteen year old filmmaker living in Toronto, Canada. He made his first film in Spring of 2005 at the age of 12. Since then he has gone on to produce a multitude of short films and has actively participated in Torontos student film scene.
His films have currently been shown in a handful of small Torontonian venues, including Buddies in Bad Times Theatre and the now-defunct Brunswick Theatre. He has organized two school film festivals and worked as a special film consultant in a workshop coordinated by Meow Films and Youth Action Network. In addition to this, he has personally collaborated with the president of Meow Films, Gurbeen Bashin.
Adam Zivojinovic was a finalist in 2007s Up in Your Business film pitch contest (run by Manifesto) despite being technically too young for the requirements. He also received an Honourable Mention in the 2007s Yammies film festival despite being the youngest of the competitors.
Adam has garnered praise from a wide range of fans, from students and teachers, to Meow Films Gurbeen Bashin, to stunt coordinator Matthew Birman, who has worked on films such as Alien versus Predator and the American Pie series.
Currently he is competing in the filmmaking category of SkillsCanada, an international competition for youth interested in media and skilled trades. He and his partner Maria Kundakcioglu won gold for the regional qualifiers and will be competing in the regionals on April 18th.
