When I was 12 years old, I gave up my Play Station for an M Audio keyboard. I plugged it into my Mac and I haven't come up for air since then. I was originally drawn to hip hop and spent a year working on hip hop beats. I was drawn to break dancing, poppin' and locking and went to many dance classes with some of DC's best dancers. There, I gained an appreciation for driving rhythms and movement. Composing all the beat tracks on my keyboard served as the foundation for my songwriting of the alternative rock songs that I have been working on over the last 3 years.

In 2004, I met Daniel Brindley of the Brindley Brothers Band. Daniel mentored me on keyboard and music composition and a fantastic local DC singer, Mary Ann Redmond, worked with me to polish my vocals. Having just turned 16, I have a solid repertoire of original songs and I released my first EP in November 2006. Now I'm performing at some of DC's local hotspots like Jammin' Java and working on developing my fan base.
