In the slippery slope of repression of sexuality the oppressors think they can avoid their own problems and impulse to violence. It seems to me this is part of the new more violent Russia. And here's a video that more or less confirms my memories. It seems just one performance. But notice how few people have watched this on Youtube given the doors popularity (still. 35600). People just don't know to look or what to look for. Also anyone recording on 16mm would have run out of film pretty quickly. Anyone taping would also have run out of tape at some point, and thought "enough for posterity, now let's go with it", I think. Jim says "is someone smoking?" Damn right they were.
