Messianic Judaism is not Christianity in disguise, it is a legitimate branch of Judaism, a fulfillment of Biblical Judaism and the Torah and it's actually 2000 years old dating back to the time of the promised Messiah of Israel Yeshua of Nazareth. Only Roman Catholicism is Christianity, including Protestantism and Eastern Orthodoxy. Messianic Jews are not Christians because the term Christian is synonymous only for a Gentile. There is no commandement in the Brit Chadasha for Jewish believers and followers to call themselves Christians. Only Catholics and Protestants are Christians. Who would say that Jews can't believe in Yeshua HaMashiach? It's a ridiculous statement. The earliest followers and believers were Jews, the founding apostles were Jews, the earliest missionaries were Jews and the earliest congregation were entirely Jewish.
