They've got the depth and speed sorted out perfectly to make sure the "bow wave" keeps water away from the door seals. If they stop, the car will eventually fill up. If it gets a few inches deeper, or they get too fast, water will find its way in.

Would be nice to hear the song with the recording levels down to avoid the clipping. Otherwise, nicely done. Maybe a better mic and a screen to blank off the fret/finger noise (just a personal preference to hear the vocals and instrument without the mechanical noises.)
