This is a very fine group of musicians, but unfortunately, the stuff they do are just plain ridiculous. I wish they'd perform more traditional literatures like Steve Reich and let the art of music making speak by itself without any visual hinderances.

Why do composers come up with these stupid choreographies? It is not related to music in any ways. Moreover, it hinders the listeners from listening to the actual SOUND. Music is about sound, not visual. If you're gonna express yourselves, do it through sound rather than the visual.

While the idea is very funny, it would be very inadvisable. Unless you know the exact speed at which the block falls, and you can time it so that the block will hit the bottom with the orchestra's downbeat, it would be very difficult and impractical.

This may not apply at every audition, but you do want to learn to count all the rests in between passages as well. In some auditions, they do ask you to incorporate rests in the excerpts. Also, phrase the second passage (the sixteenths). Phrase so that they go to the downbeat.
