Monongahela Ted. I lived in John Fahey's house 1 month. He didn't live there at the time. I saw him performin at GW University in the 60's, also Libba Cotton at Montgomery Junior College in 1966.I asked Irving Snyder to teach me "Last Steam Engine Train", and I had to nag and nag, finally he taught my first song, "Sweet Substitute" instead. Later he gave, to me, the rudiments of LSET.
I learned also "Poor Boy" by Fahey. Those were the only 2 that I liked by him, but I was obsessed with them.
I knew just about all the musicians in the Montgomery County MD and Warrenton VA areas in the 60's.
@phildirt3 "had serious hots for maryann" Who could blame you, for that? She appears to have a stron Mars in her chart, nicht wehr?
