Born in 1962 in Brindisi, by the mediterranian seashore, arrives in Geneva in 64, buy a 100$ classical guitar and begin to learn fingerstyle folk at 15. 3 years later first TV show with Eddie Pittier.
At that time, Michel Haumont, Jerry Reed, David Qualey, Chet Atkins were my heroes. With Alain Rougemont, my first teacher, opening of Michel Haumont at Pic-Plouc folk club in Genèva. Time of longs hairs, white shirts & western boots, then longs hairs, old jeans, and alpaca's wool pulls.
Several concerts in Switzerland France and Italy. 96, duet with Michel Marthaler, concert in AMR Geneva.
1995-98, Study jazz in Geneva, play duet with Eduardo Kohan , then "Ay mi Sombrero"quintet. Gardel, Piazzola, popular world music and jazz standards.
Duet "Aï Ke Dolor" with singer Colette Grand.
March 1998, lost in an accident two fingers of my fretting hand. Then, I stopped playing for seven years.
I believed impossible playing again, but life circumstances leaded me to try again progressively.
Paradoxically, this mutilation made me musically free: by leading me to find a way to play with two fingers less. As Django Reinhard had to do, after having his fretting hand severely burned in an accident.
Exploring theses new "rules of the game", I developped a way of play, a sound and style wich are, I believe, the reflect of my emotions.
I hope ou will enjoy my music and wish you a nice visit on this channel.
