About this user
André Cortada is a composer and a musical producer from São Paulo, Brazil, who has just released his first solo work, entitled "Flow".
With a diversified background, from Rock and Blues to Classical, the music of André is unique, flowing through colorful and rich musical textures with intricate harmonies such as the very visual "Lullaby to the End of the World", to the powerful modern rock "A Dream Within a Dream" - based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe - and "Little Girl", to the folky singer-songwriter melodies of "Tuesday", "Flow" and "Quite Alright" that help to bring a public friendly, marketable approach to the album.
The Berklee College of Music graduate doesn't hide his Brazilian heritage. With the silky portuguese-sang songs "Nostalgia", "Carnaval", "Silêncio" and "Se" the singer showcases the wide range of his voice and music.
The CD counts with the talents of many great Brazilian musicians, such as
Renato Graccia (Viper), Thiago Rabello (Ana Cañas), Val Santos (Toy Shop),
Zé Ruivo (Vega), Fabio Calderon, Eric Budney (Luciana Mello) and others.
