After passing tough national admission's examinations entered the Medical School of National University of Athens in 1970 and graduated in 1976 receiving my Medical Diploma "Ptychion Iatrikis" having achieved the degree of "Excellent". Following this I served as a "General Practioner" my compulsory service in the army for two years. The next one year I served as a "General Practioner" my compulsory service in the Medical Center of the rural area of Nemea - Korinth. Immediately after this I began my internship in the General Surgery for five years in the hospitals: "Surgical Department A of Accident & Rehabilitation District General Hospital of Athens - K.A.T", "Surgical Department of Addenbrook's Hospital - Cambridge, England", "Surgical Department B of District General Hospital of Athens - G. Genimatas, Greece". After passing the appropriate State examinations, I received the specialty of General Surgery. I am practicing the specialty of General Surgery in the 3rd IKA Hospital of Athens and in the private section in the area of Athens Medical Association
